Needing help identifying my doll.

I bought her 5 years ago in a small retail shop. I thought then and still do now that she is adorable. She is the only doll I own. So I'm not a collector.

I would like to know who she is, who made her, around what year she was made & if she has any value.

The only marking on her is between her shoulders, written is the # 244.

She is kneeling, height kneeling is almost 11". From her knee to the bottom of her foot is 4". So I gather if she was standing she would be around 15" tall.

I think she is porcelain. Her dress shows some wear & a few small markings. Her undergarments are clean and in good shape along with her slippers. She has one tiny scrape on both her shins.

Her face, her makeup & the rest of her body is in good shape. She has a dimple on each cheek & I think her eyes might be glass.

To the touch, her hair feels real, it's soft not straw like.
