All in One Piece Again
Like many of my fellow Baby Boomers, I enjoy collecting the dolls and toys of my childhood years.
Last month, while cruising for vintage toys at an auto swap meet (long story), I found this pitiful dismembered vintage baby doll. The seller wanted $5, but settled on $2. After all, the poor kid was in pieces!
Anyway, after a serious scrubbing and hours of manipulation, my orphan is back in one piece. This is my first Dy Dee baby, and I am having trouble finding information on him - not even on Ebay!
Maybe someone out there recognizes him:
VINYL
GREEN SLEEP EYES WITH LASHES (A BIT SPARSE THESE DAYS)
MOLDED HAIR
JOINTED LIMBS WITH HUGE RANGE OF MOTION
HOLES IN BOTH EARS, MOUTH, AND LEFT FANNY CHEEK
"EFFANBEE" ON NAPE OF NECK
"EFFANBEE DY-DEE BABY" BETWEEN SHOULDER BLADES ON 2 LINES
19 1/2 INCHES LONG
Thanks for your interest!
