Mum's doll

I'd like to identify my Mum's doll she was given by her parents as a child. It's been well loved so no longer looking it's best but doll is undamaged. I'd love some help identifying it as it has no manufacturing markers anyone on the china or clothing.

It has movable limbs and the eyes open when sat up and close when lay down and appears to have a voice box (maybe it used to cry?) but this no longer works. The dress is striped and she has a petticoat underneath.
