Looking for Info on this Antique Little Doll

by Courtney Holt
(Pottsboro, TX USA)

I have a doll which is very old and in excellent condition.

She's a 15" composite doll with painted eyes and molded hair. It appears she's in her original clothing. There are no markings that I can find.

I've looked and looked for another doll like her with no results. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Patsy Types
by: Dr. E's Doll Museum

Hi; what a great doll! I have seen her dressed as Snow White, and she comes to us fromt he 1930s era. She is a Patsy type, similar to the Patsy Doll made by the Effanbee doll company. Patsy is sometimes made today in vinyl or hard plastic by other companies. There are great books on Effanbee dolls, and on Patsy. I did a book called a Bibliography of Doll and Toy Sources that has many of them, or just google Patsy and Effanbee. Amazon.com can help you, too. Thanks for sharing her.
