Look Alike Pebbles Dolls??

My sister found this doll on Ebay, advertised as a Pebbles. She has Plated Moulds on her neck, painted eyes sort of like Pebbles, but that is about it.
Her body is cloth, and in need of restoring. The head is cute and in good shape. The only thing about her that looks like Pebbles is her hair.
Otherwise, she is a cute old doll worthy of adding to the collection, but not a Pebbles, in any shape or form.
Does anyone have information about these Plated Mould dolls? It is hard to find any information about the company, much less the dolls.
