Does anyone have any info on this vintage cutie?

I'd really love to rescue this little cutie if its worth it! I loved this doll as a kid and I cracked it somehow. My mother, God may she rest in peace, glued her together for me but somehow glued part of the mechanics.

I'd love to know more about her. I think my Uncle brought her back as a gift for me from Japan. Really unsure and don't have any way of finding out.

Can a collector friend out there give me any advise?
