Cute Russian folk art dolls

I have no email/'net account...so don't know if you'll get this..... I found 15 miniature (about 3 inches tall) Russian dolls at a thrift shop for 6$ (wow! 40 cents each!);

hand painted, one on-line source reads "from the 1920's", another as "1960's souvenirs of the soviet republic, molded pressed paper".

Most of the Russian labels on bottom are torn off. Hole in each bottom, so to work on without smearing paint.
Paper, hair of threads, tissue shawls. Charming.

I'm sending them to a little girl I know.
