60's Drink & Wet Doll with Crossed Fingers ID???

Hi,
I just bought this 17" 'drink & wet' doll at a 'moving sale'. The woman said that her daughter is now 50 and this doll was given to her in her (the daughter's) first year. That would date the doll to the 1960's.
On the back of the neck it looks like ET (the E is clear, the T is not).
Also, on the right hand of the doll, the index finger is crossed over the thumb.
